I need a little help in sizing an x-mer.
600v mains droped down to 208 /120v
50A welder recpt
8x20A recpt
30A trailer
15A lighting
the first 4 loads will be out of 1 panel and i would like the avaibility of 50 to 100 amps for future use.

Could use a little more information, but here goes anyway.
Assuming -
- the welder is 208 volt, 1 phase
- the receptacles are all 120 volt
- the trailer is 120 volt
- your future 100 amps will be 120 volt loads
Welder = 10400 va
Recepts = 19200 va
Trailer = 3600 va
Lighting= 1800 va
Future = 6228 va
Total = 41228 va = 41.2 kva - with everything on at once.
With normal use, 25 or 30 kva should do it.
